Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) – The committee of the Mayoga Ramadan Festival (MARS #6) at MAN 3 Sleman distributed dozens of takjil packages to the community at several locations across Yogyakarta on Saturday (March 7, 2026), shortly before the time of breaking the fast.

This activity was part of the ongoing MARS #6 program series, following a previous social visit conducted by the committee to Yayasan Wredha Mulya Yogyakarta. The distribution of takjil was organized as a gesture of social care for people who were still traveling or working when the time for iftar was approaching.

The committee members departed from the madrasah at around 4:00 PM and headed to several locations to distribute the takjil packages. A total of 50 portions were shared with the public at different points, including areas around the school, Flyover Jombor, the vicinity of Universitas Gadjah Mada, and the famous Malioboro Street area.

One of the committee members, Muwafiq Hawari, stated that the activity was intended to nurture social awareness among students.

“The intention behind this activity is to share happiness with the community, especially during the blessed month of Ramadan,” he said.

Through this initiative, the committee hopes that the spirit of sharing and social compassion will continue to grow among students while also bringing meaningful benefits to the wider community. (dza)
