Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) – A total of 133 prospective students took part in the Stage II selection process for the Integrated Tahfidz Achievement Admission Track (JPTT) at MAN 3 Sleman. The selection was conducted over two days, Monday–Tuesday (March 9–10, 2026), within the madrasah campus.
The JPTT program is part of the Madrasah New Student Admission (PMBM) system organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Indonesia. The program aims to recruit prospective students who demonstrate strong ability and commitment in Qur’an memorization while pursuing formal education at the madrasah.
The Stage II selection was conducted after applicants successfully passed the online Stage I screening. In this stage, participants underwent several assessments, including document verification, Qur’an memorization tests (tahfidz), student interviews, and parent interviews.
In addition, candidates who expressed interest in residing in the dormitory also participated in a boarding school interview as part of the selection process to join Pondok Pesantren Muntasyirul Ulum.
Previously, the JPTT registration period was held from March 3–5, 2026, with the announcement of Stage I results released on March 6, 2026. Those who passed the initial screening were then invited to attend the in-person selection at MAN 3 Sleman.
According to the head of the PMBM committee, Siti Mutmainah, the selection process ran smoothly and in an orderly manner. She noted that the candidates demonstrated strong enthusiasm and commitment throughout the assessment stages.
“Alhamdulillah, the selection process ran in an orderly manner. The prospective students showed great readiness and enthusiasm in participating in each stage, especially during the Qur’an memorization test,” she said.
A similar spirit was also seen among the parents who attended the interview sessions. They expressed their support and hopes that their children would be accepted to study at MAN 3 Sleman, including those who plan to reside at the boarding school.
Overall, the PMBM JPTT selection process at MAN 3 Sleman proceeded smoothly and orderly, with the hope of recruiting students who excel not only academically but also possess a deep love for the Holy Qur’an. (est)
