Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) – After completing nearly two months of service and teaching practice, 11 student teachers participating in the School Field Introduction Program (PLP) from Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa were officially withdrawn from MAN 3 Sleman on Friday (March 13, 2026).
The farewell ceremony, held in a warm and family-like atmosphere, took place in the Reading Room of the MAN 3 Sleman Library.
In his remarks, the Head of MAN 3 Sleman, Singgih Sampurno, expressed appreciation for the dedication shown by the student teachers during their placement from February to March 2026. He emphasized that direct teaching experience in schools is essential in shaping adaptive and professional educators.


“We warmly welcome the presence of UST students. We hope that the educational dynamics at MAN 3 Sleman have provided them with a real picture of the teaching profession and the challenges of the education world,” he said.
The withdrawal ceremony was attended by representatives of the Field Supervising Lecturers (DPL) from several study programs. Among those present were Ermawati, Head of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Program and DPL, as well as Daimul Hasanah, Head of the Physics Education Program and DPL.
Representatives of the supervising lecturers conveyed their gratitude to the madrasah for providing opportunities for students to implement innovative teaching methods and gain deeper insight into school culture and classroom dynamics.
The event concluded with the signing of administrative documents and a group photo session, symbolizing the completion of the students’ field assignment and their return to campus to continue their academic studies at Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa. (isn)
