Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) — After completing a series of demanding assessments, the students of MAN 3 Sleman enthusiastically welcomed one of the most anticipated annual events. The Mayoga Sports and Arts Forum, known as FOSEMA #5, was officially opened on Thursday, June 18, 2026, and will run until Friday, June 19, 2026.

The event was officially opened by the Principal of MAN 3 Sleman, Singgih Sampurno, marked by the symbolic striking of a gong. In his remarks, Singgih stated that FOSEMA #5 served as an important moment for students to refresh their minds.

“This activity provides a refreshing moment for students after completing their assessments. Compete with enthusiasm and always uphold sportsmanship,” Singgih said, encouraging the participants.

A unique highlight of this year’s FOSEMA opening was the creative class performances inspired by icons and mascots from countries around the world.

After the opening ceremony and gong striking, all participants joined a parade around the MAN 3 Sleman campus area. Local residents were treated to a lively display of student creativity. Several country-themed performances stood out and enlivened the atmosphere, including icons from Japan, Italy, Arabia, China, and Brazil.

FOSEMA #5 is not only a platform for showcasing creativity through the parade, but also a stage for students to demonstrate their talents in sports and the arts. Over the two-day event, students will compete in a healthy and spirited manner across various competition categories. (est)
