Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) – As part of its commitment to realizing the vision of becoming an “Advanced, High-Quality, and Globally-Oriented Madrasah,” MAN 3 Sleman continues to implement various strategic initiatives. On Wednesday, June 17, 2026, a delegation from MAN 3 Sleman, led by Principal Singgih Sampurno and accompanied by members of the Madrasah Committee, conducted a study visit to MA IC Bin Baz to learn about its student mentoring and guidance system for overseas higher education, particularly for universities in the Middle East.
The visit was part of MAN 3 Sleman’s efforts to strengthen its internationalization program and expand opportunities for students to pursue higher education at renowned universities in Saudi Arabia, Morocco, and Egypt.
Singgih explained that overseas study preparation extends beyond academic excellence. It also includes Arabic language development, character building, strengthening Islamic knowledge, and equipping students with strategies to navigate university admission processes and cultural adaptation in their destination countries.
“MAN 3 Sleman is committed to guiding and supporting our students in pursuing higher education opportunities at internationally recognized institutions, such as the Islamic University of Madinah in Saudi Arabia, leading universities in Morocco, and Al-Azhar University in Egypt. This visit reflects our ongoing efforts to provide educational services that are increasingly competitive, high-quality, and globally relevant,” he stated.
Through this activity, MAN 3 Sleman hopes to adopt and implement best practices that have been successfully developed by MA IC Bin Baz in preparing students for overseas universities. With the full support of the Madrasah Committee and all stakeholders, MAN 3 Sleman remains optimistic about nurturing a generation of outstanding students who excel academically, demonstrate strong moral character, and contribute meaningfully on the international stage.
