Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) – Thursday (April 23, 2026) marked the final day of the testing and interview series for the First Wave (Independent Track) of Madrasah Student Admissions (PMBM) for the 2026/2027 academic year. Entering the fourth and last day, more than one hundred candidates attended the final stage of selection.
A notable highlight on the final day was the presence of many confident applicants holding their “Golden Tickets.” This special privilege is awarded to winners of various competitions previously organized by MAN 3 Sleman, such as MYSCOM, FPMY, MENTION, as well as top-ranking students in their respective schools.
One of the participants benefiting from this opportunity was Ihda Khoirun Niswah from MTsN 4 Sleman. She officially registered through the special invitation pathway for Golden Ticket holders. For her, MAN 3 Sleman is the ideal place to continue building upon her achievements from junior secondary level.
The appeal of MAN 3 Sleman as a leading madrasah extends beyond local students. Derien Fariistha from MTsN 1 Temanggung traveled a considerable distance to take part in the selection. He expressed strong confidence in choosing MAN 3 Sleman as his top destination due to its academic reputation and supportive environment for personal growth.
Head of Madrasah, Singgih Sampurno, explained that the selection process—comprising CBT tests, tahfidz assessments, boarding school tests, and interviews—is designed to map both the potential and character of prospective students.
“Today marks the conclusion of the first wave. We have seen extraordinary enthusiasm, especially from high-achieving students who were winners of competitions we previously organized. The Golden Ticket is our commitment to identifying and nurturing outstanding talents early on,” he stated.
With the conclusion of today’s schedule, participants now await the official announcement of results, which will determine their next steps toward becoming part of the “Madrasah of Champions.” (est)
