Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) — MAN 3 Sleman continues to demonstrate its commitment to strengthening educational quality through a collaborative visit to MA Taruna Al-Quran on Thursday (April 23, 2026). The program featured the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) alongside a knowledge-sharing session on Smart Math learning for mathematics teachers at both MTs and MA Taruna Al-Quran.
The MAN 3 Sleman delegation was led by Head of Madrasah, Singgih Sampurno, and warmly welcomed by the Head of MA Taruna Al-Quran, Darwati. This initiative marks a strategic step toward expanding inter-madrasah collaboration, particularly in developing innovative teaching methods.
During the session, Punto Wisambodo introduced the Smart Math approach—an engaging method that emphasizes logical thinking, speed, and enjoyment in solving mathematical problems. The approach is designed to enhance students’ interest and deepen their understanding of mathematics.
Mathematics teachers from MTs and MA Taruna Al-Quran participated enthusiastically, engaging not only in theoretical discussions but also in hands-on practice of practical teaching strategies that can be directly applied in the classroom.
In his remarks, the Head of MAN 3 Sleman expressed hope that this partnership would serve as the beginning of sustained collaboration between the institutions. “Through this MoU, we aim to share best practices and continuously improve the quality of learning in our madrasahs,” he stated.
Meanwhile, the Head of MA Taruna Al-Quran expressed appreciation for the visit and the knowledge-sharing session, hoping that the insights gained would bring meaningful improvements to mathematics teaching in their institution.
