Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) — MAN 3 Sleman has earned formal recognition as the Outstanding Zakat Collection Unit (UPZ) in the School/Madrasah Category, marking another significant milestone in the institution’s commitment to ethical governance and social responsibility. The award acknowledges the madrasah’s excellence in participation outreach, systematic fundraising, and consistent reporting of zakat, infaq, and sadaqah (ZIS).
The award was presented on Tuesday, January 27, 2025, at the Official Residence of the Regent of Sleman, during an appreciation ceremony dedicated to zakat collection units that have demonstrated strong contributions to strengthening ZIS management across Sleman Regency.
The honor was received by Rinawati, S.A.P., Treasurer of MAN 3 Sleman, representing the institution. The recognition reflects the madrasah’s sustained efforts in implementing transparent, accountable, and well-structured ZIS management practices, aligned with both religious principles and institutional governance standards.
Responding to the achievement, Singgih Sampurno the Head of MAN 3 Sleman highlighted that the award is the result of collective commitment from the entire madrasah community.
