Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) – To protect the school community from the growing threat of digital financial crimes, MAN 3 Sleman held a financial literacy workshop on Friday, June 3, 2026. The event, held in the AVA Room, was organized in collaboration with the Financial Services Authority (OJK).

During the session, OJK emphasized the importance of staying alert and not being easily tempted by unrealistic offers.

“Educational programs like this are essential as our first line of defense. By understanding how to manage finances wisely and recognizing various forms of digital financial crime, we can protect ourselves, our families, and later share this knowledge with our students,” the speaker explained.

OJK representatives attended the workshop as the main speakers, providing valuable insights into the importance of financial management. The session was considered highly important to help teachers and educational staff avoid the dangers of illegal online loans and online gambling, both of which have become serious concerns in society.

Throughout the program, MAN 3 Sleman teachers and staff showed great attention and enthusiasm in following the materials presented. To make the topic easier to understand, OJK shared various illustrations of financial crime schemes commonly found in today’s digital era.
