Pre-MATAMUDA Welcomes New Students with Aspirations, Friendship, and a Campus Tour

Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) – A cheerful and enthusiastic atmosphere filled MAN 3 Sleman on Friday, July 10, 2026, as hundreds of new students attended the Pre-MATAMUDA program for the first time. The event was designed to provide essential guidance and information ahead of the official MATAMUDA orientation program, which is scheduled to begin the following Monday.

During the program, Principal Singgih Sampurno visited several classrooms to personally welcome the newest members of the MAN 3 Sleman community. His presence was warmly received by the students, and he encouraged them to begin their journey with determination and a clear sense of purpose.

“Welcome to MAN 3 Sleman. Let this madrasah become a place where you grow and develop. From today onward, build a strong spirit, study seriously, and work towards the dreams you have set for yourselves,” he said.

The new students participated enthusiastically under the guidance of the student committee, Student Council members, and supervising teachers, who supported them throughout the activities.

To help students feel more comfortable and begin building friendships, the committee organized a series of interactive activities. These included introduction games, writing personal aspirations on reflection sheets, and contributing to a shared dream board. Students also exchanged social media accounts as a simple way to stay connected and strengthen new friendships.

The excitement continued with an anjangsana, or guided campus tour. New students explored classrooms, laboratories, the library, and other important facilities across the MAN 3 Sleman campus. The day concluded with a welcome ceremony rehearsal on the school field.

The Pre-MATAMUDA program ran smoothly and successfully helped students build their first connections within the madrasah community. Equipped with essential information and a better understanding of their new learning environment, the students are now ready to take part in the full MATAMUDA orientation program at the beginning of the following week.
