Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) — Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 3 Sleman participated in a socialization program on the utilization of village treasury land organized by the Department of Land Affairs and Spatial Planning. The activity was held on Thursday (April 9, 2026) at MTs Negeri 8 Sleman.
The event was attended by all heads of madrasahs and heads of administrative offices within the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Sleman Regency. Their presence reflects a shared commitment to ensuring that the management and utilization of village treasury land are conducted in an orderly, lawful, and regulation-compliant manner.
This socialization was prompted by field conditions showing that many madrasahs utilize village treasury land as operational sites for educational institutions. Therefore, a comprehensive understanding of legal aspects, utilization mechanisms, and administrative governance is essential to prevent potential legal issues in the future.
During the session, representatives from the Department of Land Affairs and Spatial Planning presented key regulations regarding land status, procedures for utilization, and the obligations that must be fulfilled by institutions using village land. Participants were also given the opportunity to engage in discussions and share challenges encountered in practice.
The participation of the Head of MAN 3 Sleman, Singgih Sampurno, along with the Head of Administration, Susana Widyawati, demonstrates the madrasah’s strong commitment to transparent and accountable asset management, as well as ensuring that all land utilization aligns with existing regulations.
Through this initiative, it is hoped that all madrasahs under the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Sleman Regency will gain a deeper understanding of the importance of legal compliance in managing village treasury land—thereby supporting the sustainability of safe, orderly, and well-governed educational services.
