Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) – Five students from MAN 3 Sleman have earned places in the 2026 Sleman Regency Choir following a competitive selection process. The successful students are Cantasnala Hammain Hendarjat (Grade 12 H), Sahlaa Aqilah Abidah (Grade 12 H), Aulia Nuzulul Karim Isnardi (Grade 11 E), Ridwan Mukhlisin (Grade 12 R), and Triyas Novita Pertiwi (Grade 12 A).
Reflecting on the achievement, Triyas shared the group’s excitement and gratitude. After going through a challenging and highly competitive audition, the five students said they felt relieved and were looking forward to beginning intensive rehearsals for their upcoming performance at the regency level.
“We are very happy and relieved to have been selected. We hope to give our best performance and contribute to the success of the Indonesian Independence Day celebrations,” they said.
The selection process took place on June 17, 2026, at Unit 1 of the Sleman Regency Government Office. A total of 96 talented students representing senior high schools, vocational schools, and madrasahs across Sleman Regency took part in the audition. Following a comprehensive assessment, 75 students were selected, including all five representatives from MAN 3 Sleman. The official results were announced on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
This achievement is expected to inspire other MAN 3 Sleman students to continue discovering and developing their talents, both academically and beyond the classroom, while representing the madrasah with pride at various levels. (est)
