Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) – To strengthen teamwork, foster stronger relationships, refresh the mind, and enhance professional commitment, the MAN 3 Sleman community held a Character Building Program on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. The activity took place at the Posong Nature Tourism Area in Temanggung, Central Java, bringing together teachers and educational staff in a meaningful outdoor setting.
The Principal of MAN 3 Sleman, Singgih Sampurno, explained that the program was designed to help teachers and staff relieve stress while reinforcing solidarity.
“Through this outdoor activity, we aim to take a short break from our daily routines while strengthening our sense of togetherness. Teachers and educational staff are the foundation of our madrasah. When our solidarity and character are strong, the quality of education and services we provide to our students will become even better,” he said.
Sharing the same view, Sri Wulandari, Head of Administration at MAN 3 Sleman, emphasized that the trip was more than just recreation. It served as an opportunity to recharge positive energy, enabling teachers and staff to begin the new academic year with renewed enthusiasm and greater readiness.

Echoing these sentiments, Prof. Dr. Amir Muallim, MIS, Chairman of the Madrasah Committee, expressed his appreciation for the successful organization of the program. He hopes this initiative will inspire renewed motivation, stronger unity, and a shared commitment to leading MAN 3 Sleman toward even greater achievements in the upcoming academic year.
The program was attended by 82 participants, consisting of teachers and educational staff. The journey to the scenic slopes of Mount Sindoro was made even more meaningful by the presence of the Chairman of the Madrasah Committee and the Acting Committee Executive, Dr. Chamim Zarkasih Putro, M.Si. Their participation reflected the strong partnership between the madrasah leadership and its supporting stakeholders in continuously developing high-quality human resources.
The activities began with motivational sessions and interactive team-building games designed to strengthen collaboration, improve communication skills, and develop resilience in facing future challenges in education. Laughter and enthusiasm filled the atmosphere as participants enjoyed the activities together, while the cool mountain climate and breathtaking scenery of Posong created the perfect environment for learning, reflection, and camaraderie.
The event concluded with a group photo session and a warm gathering over local culinary specialties amidst the beautiful natural surroundings of Temanggung. Returning from Posong, every teacher and staff member brought home a renewed commitment—to return to the madrasah with fresh energy, educate with dedication and compassion, and continue innovating for the advancement of MAN 3 Sleman.
