MAN 3 Sleman Teachers Present AI-Based Learning Media Following Digital Training Program

Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) – The community service training program entitled “Strengthening Artificial Intelligence (AI) Literacy for Teachers to Improve the Effectiveness of Digital-Based Learning in Schools” continued into its second day on Thursday, July 9, 2026. Following the successful in-person session the previous day, the program was held online through Zoom Meeting.

Vice Principal for Curriculum Affairs Nurudin Mahmud expressed his appreciation for the effectiveness of the training. He noted that Generative AI can significantly support teachers, especially in making lesson preparation more efficient.

“AI technology is very helpful for teachers, particularly in saving time when preparing teaching materials. As long as we have a strong internet connection, these tools are extremely useful. We hope this collaboration can continue in the future for the development of both institutions,” he said.

Similarly, Failasufah, a Guidance and Counseling teacher, emphasized that MAN 3 Sleman remains open to innovative partnerships in the years ahead.

“This program has been very useful and has brought positive value to improving our teachers’ digital competencies. MAN 3 Sleman is ready to collaborate again on future educational programs,” she stated.

The second-day agenda focused on presentations by MAN 3 Sleman teachers, who showcased their independent projects in developing interactive learning media using AI technology and Canva. Several teacher representatives presented their digital teaching materials before lecturers from the Faculty of Industrial Technology (FTI), Institut Teknologi Dirgantara Adisutjipto (ITDA).

In addition to the presentations, participants also joined a testimonial session and completed a post-test to measure the improvement in their understanding and digital skills before the program was officially closed.

Through this training, MAN 3 Sleman teachers are now better prepared to integrate artificial intelligence as a supportive partner in creating innovative, effective, and enjoyable learning experiences for students in the classroom. (est)
