Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) – The committee of the Mayoga Ramadan Festival (MARS) #6 of MAN 3 Sleman conducted a social visit to the Wredha Mulya Foundation, Yogyakarta, on Saturday (March 7, 2026). This activity was part of the MARS #6 series aimed at fostering social awareness and strengthening the connection between the younger generation and the elderly.
The visit was attended by the MARS #6 organizing committee consisting of the Student Council, representatives from 12 activity units (BPH), and supervising teachers. During the activity, the committee members engaged in painting and creating mosaics together with the elderly residents, while also presenting donations and tokens of appreciation.

The Chairman of the MARS #6 Committee, Ikmal Husain, stated that the activity reflects the students’ genuine concern for the community.
“Through this activity, we want to implement the Qur’anic encouragement to compete in doing good deeds, especially during the month of Ramadan, so that our actions can bring positive impact to society,” he said.

Throughout the event, a warm and familial atmosphere was felt as the committee members and residents of the Wredha Mulya Foundation shared stories and life experiences.
Through this social visit, it is hoped that the students of MAN 3 Sleman will not only remain active in school activities but will also continue to develop empathy, compassion, and social sensitivity toward the community, particularly toward elderly individuals who need attention, companionship, and care.
