Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) — MTsN 2 Boyolali conducted a benchmarking visit to MAN 3 Sleman on Wednesday (February 4, 2026). The visit aimed to gain insights and firsthand experience in managing a high-achieving madrasah, particularly the processes that have led MAN 3 Sleman to be widely recognized for its outstanding accomplishments.
The MTsN 2 Boyolali delegation, consisting of around 100 participants including committee members, teachers, and students, received a warm welcome from the Head of MAN 3 Sleman, Singgih Sampurno, S.Pd., M.A. In his remarks, he expressed appreciation for the visit and affirmed MAN 3 Sleman’s openness to sharing knowledge and guiding visiting students.
“We warmly welcome the MTsN 2 Boyolali family. Your strong academic programs, especially in olympiads, align well with our programs here. At Mayoga, students are guided to develop a champion mindset,” he said.

Singgih further explained that MAN 3 Sleman’s achievements result from a consistent process of student selection and coaching starting from the admission stage. He emphasized that choosing MAN 3 Sleman for further study is a strategic step for students aiming to grow both academically and non-academically.
The program continued with a presentation by the Vice Principal for Curriculum, Nurudin Mahmud, S.Pd., M.Si., who introduced the history of MAN 3 Sleman, its flagship programs, library services, and learning facilities.
Meanwhile, the Vice Principal for Student Affairs, Siti Mutmainah, S.Pd., highlighted the numerous achievements of both students and teachers. She also shared information about the madrasah’s 34 extracurricular activities and alumni who have successfully continued their studies at reputable universities in Indonesia and abroad.

Representing MTsN 2 Boyolali, Agus Suprapto, S.Pd., coordinator of the special program, stated that the visit was intended to learn from MAN 3 Sleman’s success while introducing MTs students to the next level of madrasah education.
“We hope to learn from MAN 3 Sleman’s achievements so they can inspire our students,” he noted.
The visit concluded with an interactive discussion session and a tour of various facilities, including the library, laboratories, and other supporting learning spaces. Through this benchmarking visit, MTsN 2 Boyolali is expected to adopt best practices from MAN 3 Sleman for future madrasah development. (est)
