Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) — MAN 3 Sleman officially commenced its flagship MUTIARAQU (Muraja’ah dan Tahfidz Intensif Al-Qur’an) program on Monday, February 23, 2026, marked by a placement test and the signing of participant commitment contracts.
The event began with an official launch led by Principal Singgih Sampurno, who underscored the importance of dedication and perseverance in pursuing Qur’an memorization as a foundation for students’ future success.
Following the inauguration, participants were grouped into halaqah circles and undertook a placement test designed to assess their current memorization level and recitation quality. The results will determine appropriate group placement, ensuring that each student receives guidance aligned with their individual progress.

In addition, students formally signed a participation contract, symbolizing their readiness to commit consistently and responsibly to the program’s targets and discipline.
Through MUTIARAQU, MAN 3 Sleman aspires to nurture a generation of Qur’an memorizers who excel not only in religious devotion but also in academic achievement. The program is expected to open broader opportunities, including access to higher education pathways and tahfidz-based scholarships.
By integrating structured spiritual development with academic growth, MAN 3 Sleman reaffirms its commitment to shaping students who are principled, accomplished, and competitive in both worldly and spiritual pursuits. (mia)
