Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) — MAN 3 Sleman strengthened its university entrance preparation program by hosting a focused UTBK enrichment session in English on Thursday (February 5, 2026). The program targeted Grade 12 students and was conducted in two separate sessions to ensure effective learning.
The first session involved classes XII ABC from 8:10 to 9:40 a.m., followed by classes XII DE and the LBCI program from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
According to Vice Principal for Curriculum Nurudin Mahmud, the initiative is part of the madrasah’s commitment to supporting students’ readiness for the national university entrance test.
“We collaborated with Ruangguru to help students sharpen their comprehension skills and approach UTBK questions with better strategies and confidence,” he explained.
The training focused on recognizing various text types commonly found in UTBK questions, effective reading strategies, and guided practice in solving exam-style problems. Students also took part in English speaking exercises to strengthen their communication skills.
Mentors from Ruangguru delivered the sessions in an interactive and practical manner, allowing students to actively engage with the material and apply test-taking strategies directly.
Through this enrichment program, MAN 3 Sleman hopes students will build stronger English literacy skills, gain confidence, and achieve optimal results in the UTBK and future university admissions. (mia)
