MAN 3 Sleman Strengthens Admission Strategy for 2026/2027 Academic Year

Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) — MAN 3 Sleman convened a strategic meeting on Friday (February 20, 2026) to prepare for the New Student Admission (PMBM) process for the 2026/2027 academic year. The session, held in the AVA Room, focused on refining policies and strengthening selection mechanisms to ensure a transparent, accountable, and well-structured admission process.

In his remarks, Principal Singgih Sampurno highlighted the importance of closely monitoring new policies introduced for the upcoming academic year. He urged the organizing committee to work collaboratively and maintain professionalism throughout every stage of the selection process.

“All stakeholders must safeguard this process together to ensure objectivity and to admit the best prospective students,” he emphasized.

Echoing this commitment, Vice Principal for Student Affairs and PMBM Chairperson Siti Mutmainah expressed hope that this year’s admissions would attract candidates who excel not only academically but also in character and achievements. She stressed the need for careful verification at every stage, from initial screening to final decision-making.

During the meeting, participants carefully reviewed the latest technical guidelines and engaged in in-depth discussions to formulate agreed-upon regulations as operational references. All deliberations were aligned with official policies issued by the Kantor Wilayah Kementerian Agama Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta.

As part of its early admission pathway, MAN 3 Sleman has opened the Integrated Tahfidz Achievement Track (JPTT). Registration for JPTT will take place on March 3–5, 2026, through the designated online portal. This pathway reflects the madrasah’s commitment to providing opportunities for students with proven excellence in Qur’an memorization.

Meanwhile, discussions regarding the independent admission track (Wave 1) are ongoing, following the latest circulars and policies from the regional Ministry of Religious Affairs office.

With thorough preparation and strong coordination, MAN 3 Sleman remains optimistic that the 2026/2027 PMBM process will run smoothly and successfully welcome a new generation of high-achieving, competitive, and character-driven students. (est)
