Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) — MAN 3 Sleman, through its Mayoga English Club, successfully held the 8th Mayoga English Competition (Mention #8) on Saturday (February 14, 2026). The annual English contest brought together junior high school students (SMP/MTs) from across Yogyakarta Special Region and Central Java.
The competition featured multiple categories, including News Anchor, Speech, Storytelling, Sing a Song, and Quick and Smart. All events ran smoothly, with strong enthusiasm from both participants and their mentors.
News Anchor

Based on the overall medal tally across categories, SMP Budi Utama secured the highest points and was named the overall champion, taking home the Mention #8 rotating trophy.
Through this event, MAN 3 Sleman and its English club once again reaffirmed their commitment to nurturing students’ English proficiency while strengthening inter-school connections through healthy and inspiring competition. (est)
