Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) — The extended family of MAN 3 Sleman, together with the Association of Former Administrative Staff and Teachers (PAMANTARU), held a warm and heartfelt Halalbihalal gathering on Saturday (March 28, 2026).
Carrying the theme TASBIH (Tautkan Silaturahmi, Bersihkan Hati, Ihsan dalam Mengabdi — Connecting Relationships, Purifying Hearts, and Serving with Excellence), the event symbolized a continuous remembrance of unity and compassion. Much like prayer beads, individuals came together as one, bound by forgiveness, affection, and shared values during this Syawalan moment.
The event began at 8:00 AM and took place at the Multi-Purpose Room beneath Masjid Muntasyirul Ulum. The atmosphere throughout the program was filled with warmth, joy, and a strong sense of togetherness. More importantly, it served as a meaningful platform for current teachers and staff to reconnect with retired educators and members of PAMANTARU.
In his remarks, the Head of MAN 3 Sleman, Singgih Sampurno, emphasized the importance of honoring the contributions of former teachers who had laid a strong foundation for the school’s progress. He expressed hope that their dedication would continue to serve as ongoing charity (amal jariyah) for those who have passed away.
“It is now our responsibility to continue their legacy and preserve the values they have built,” he stated.
He also extended his sincere appreciation to all invited guests, especially PAMANTARU members, for their continued support and presence.
“Thank you for being here. Your unwavering support helps MAN 3 Sleman continue to grow as a ‘madrasah of champions,’” he added.
The main session featured a collective recitation of the Halalbihalal pledge, followed by a keynote religious talk delivered by Erik Hadi Saputra, Vice Dean II for Non-Academic Affairs at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences, Universitas Amikom.
The event was further enriched by a heartfelt farewell for a teacher departing for Hajj, followed by a joint prayer session. It concluded with a friendly gathering, leaving a lasting impression of unity and strengthening the bonds within the MAN 3 Sleman community. (mia)
