Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) — The recitation of the Holy Qur’an resonated throughout the third floor of Masjid Muntasyirul Ulum as participants of the MutiaraQu Program (Muraja’ah and Intensive Qur’an Memorization) began submitting their memorization to their respective mentors. The activity marks the continued implementation of the flagship tahfidz program of MAN 3 Sleman following its official launch.
Hundreds of students took part in the session with enthusiasm and dedication. They were divided into 11 halaqah (learning circles) to ensure focused and structured guidance according to each student’s memorization level. In every halaqah, asatidz (Qur’anic mentors) carefully listened, corrected pronunciation and tajwid, and offered constructive feedback and motivation.

The MutiaraQu program is conducted regularly every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 07:00 to 08:30 a.m. This consistent schedule is designed to cultivate discipline while fostering a sustainable culture of maintaining and increasing Qur’anic memorization.
The Head of the MutiaraQu Program, Wahidatul Mukarromah expressed her gratitude for the students’ commitment and enthusiasm.
“Alhamdulillah, the participants have shown readiness and sincerity in submitting their memorization to their mentors. This is a promising start in building commitment and istiqomah (steadfastness) in their tahfidz journey. We hope they continue to maintain their spirit and steadily improve the quality of their memorization,” she stated.

The solemn and orderly atmosphere of the mosque further strengthened the spiritual ambiance of the activity. Beyond increasing the quantity of memorization, mentors emphasized the importance of recitation accuracy, understanding the meaning of the verses, and implementing Qur’anic values in daily life.
Through the MutiaraQu Program, MAN 3 Sleman reaffirms its commitment to developing a structured and sustainable tahfidz ecosystem—nurturing a Qur’anic generation that excels academically, upholds strong character, and contributes positively to society. (fiq)
