Boosting SNBT Readiness, Grade XII Students of MAN 3 Sleman Participate in UTBK Tryout

Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) — Grade XII students of MAN 3 Sleman took part in a Computer-Based Written Examination (UTBK) tryout held at the school’s ICT Laboratory on Thursday (February 26, 2026). The activity is part of the madrasah’s strategic effort to prepare students for the university entrance selection, particularly the National Selection Based on Test (SNBT).

The tryout was conducted in two sessions. The first session ran from 07.00 to 10.00 WIB and was attended by students of Class XII ABC, while the second session took place from 10.00 to 13.00 WIB for students of Class XII DEF. All participants completed the test online through the Ruangguru platform under structured and orderly supervision.

Based on observations at the venue, students appeared serious and focused as they worked on the questions at their respective computers. The laboratory atmosphere remained conducive throughout the activity. Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers, along with ICT teachers, accompanied the students to ensure technical smoothness and provide assistance when necessary.

Nia Anggela, the BK teacher assigned to supervise in the ICT lab, explained that the tryout aims to familiarize students with the structure and types of UTBK questions.

“This tryout is intended to help students understand the patterns and characteristics of UTBK questions, improve their time management skills, and intensify practice before facing the actual examination,” she stated.

Through this Ruangguru-based simulation, students are also accustomed to a digital testing system that closely resembles the real UTBK environment. With this initiative, MAN 3 Sleman hopes its students will be better prepared, more confident, and capable of achieving their best results in the 2026 university entrance selection. (est)
