Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) — A solemn and emotional atmosphere filled the teachers’ room at MAN 3 Sleman on Friday (February 28, 2026), just days before the Madrasah Examination (Ujian Madrasah/UM) scheduled to begin on Monday, March 2, 2026. Grade XII students took turns entering the room to seek prayers and blessings from teachers and school staff.
Each class sent representatives to convey their intentions. In their remarks, the students expressed heartfelt gratitude for the guidance, dedication, and patience shown by their teachers throughout their three years of study. They sincerely apologized for any mistakes, whether intentional or unintentional, and humbly asked for prayers for ease, smoothness, and success in completing the upcoming Madrasah Examination.

The moment unfolded with warmth and deep emotion. The students’ respectful attitude and sincerity moved many teachers, some of whom were visibly touched by the determination of their students who are about to conclude their educational journey at MAN 3 Sleman.
In return, the teachers and staff offered prayers and words of encouragement, wishing all Grade XII students good health, peace of mind, and the best possible results. The gathering concluded with handshakes as a symbol of mutual forgiveness and strengthened bonds.
This tradition of seeking blessings reflects the students’ respect and proper conduct toward their teachers, while also reinforcing the spiritual and emotional connection between educators and learners. May the collective prayers and support ensure that this year’s Madrasah Examination proceeds smoothly and brings proud achievements for all. (est)
