Beyond Bookshelves: MAYOGA Library Becomes a Creative Stage for Murafest #6 at MAN 3 Sleman

Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) — Friday morning (February 27, 2026) brought a different atmosphere to the MAYOGA Library. During the blessed month of Ramadan, the library space transformed into a vibrant stage of student expression as part of the Muntasyirul Ulum Ramadan Festival, Murafest #6.

The reading area, typically known for its quiet and contemplative environment, became lively and dynamic. Students confidently took the stage, performing religious and inspirational songs that resonated with the spiritual spirit of Ramadan. Their performances were met with warm applause and enthusiastic support from their peers, creating a strong sense of togetherness and celebration.

Head Librarian Nuzul Hidayah stated that the event demonstrates how the library continues to evolve as a relevant and living space for students.

“The library is not merely a place to read books. During Ramadan, it becomes a space for growth—where students learn to build confidence, dare to perform, and express their best potential. Literacy and the arts can go hand in hand,” she explained.

This activity further reinforces the idea that the library is more than just a literacy center; it is also a platform for nurturing talent and creativity. Through Murafest #6, the MAYOGA Library stands as an inspiring space that provides students with opportunities to create, perform, and shine—especially during the meaningful and reflective month of Ramadan.
