Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) – The Madrasah Examination (Ujian Madrasah/UM) for Grade XII students at MAN 3 Sleman officially commenced on Monday (March 2, 2026). As one of the key determinants of graduation, the examination is being undertaken by all Grade XII students with readiness and enthusiasm.
Before beginning the test, students collectively recite Asmaul Husna (the 99 Beautiful Names of Allah) and offer prayers in their respective classrooms under the supervision of exam proctors. The rhythmic recitation serves as both mental reinforcement and emotional calm for the examinees. Prayers are offered for ease, smooth proceedings, and the best possible outcomes throughout the examination period.

Following the prayer session, students proceed with the reading of an integrity pledge. Led by one student and recited simultaneously by all examinees, the pledge reflects their commitment to upholding honesty and integrity during the examination. The pledge reads as follows:
By seeking the mercy and pleasure of Allah SWT, I solemnly pledge:
1.I will take this Madrasah Examination with discipline, orderliness, and honesty.
2.I will help create a conducive and comfortable examination environment.
3.I will use my mobile phone and laptop solely for examination purposes.
4.During the examination, I will not open any applications other than JMD.
5.Before, during, and after the examination, I will not commit any form of cheating.

“This positive routine is carried out every morning before the examination begins as a form of self-affirmation. Through the recitation of Asmaul Husna, prayers, and the integrity pledge, students are expected to strengthen their commitment to honesty, discipline, and adherence to examination rules,” explained Nurudin Mahmud, Vice Principal for Curriculum Affairs.
By continuously instilling the values of spirituality and integrity, the Madrasah Examination at MAN 3 Sleman is expected to run smoothly and reflect the noble character and academic excellence of its students. (est)
