Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) – Grade XII students of MAN 3 Sleman officially began the Madrasah Examination (Ujian Madrasah/UM) on Monday (March 2, 2026). The examination will continue over the next eight days, with two subjects scheduled each day.
Since early morning, the school environment was orderly and conducive. Students arrived ahead of time to prepare themselves before entering their respective examination rooms. According to the committee’s report, the attendance rate reached nearly one hundred percent, reflecting students’ readiness and seriousness in completing the entire examination process.
“Alhamdulillah, attendance is almost one hundred percent. Only one student was unable to attend due to illness,” said Faila, a member of the UM committee.

This year’s Madrasah Examination combines both digital and conventional systems. Multiple-choice questions are completed through the online Jogja Madrasah Digital (JMD) application, while essay questions are answered using paper-based tests. This combination is expected to enhance both efficiency and students’ accuracy in responding to each question.
Before the examination began, proctors ensured that all participants complied with the established regulations. Requirements such as examination cards, uniforms, attributes, and other necessary materials were carefully checked to guarantee that the examination proceeded in an orderly and rule-compliant manner.
On the first day, the examination ran smoothly without significant obstacles. Students appeared mentally and spiritually prepared to face each subject tested. The maintained discipline and order serve as positive indicators that the entire series of Madrasah Examinations at MAN 3 Sleman will continue successfully through the final day. (est)
