Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) — On Tuesday (March 3, 2026), marking the second day of the Mayoga Pesantren Ramadan (MPR) program, MAN 3 Sleman opened the day’s activities with a solemn tadarus (Qur’anic recitation) session attended by all participating students.
During the session, students collectively recited Surah Yasin and Surah Al-Waqi’ah as selected chapters. The atmosphere was calm, reflective, and deeply spiritual—highlighting the students’ commitment to making the most of the holy month of Ramadan through meaningful acts of worship.

Through this tadarus activity, students were not only encouraged to improve their fluency and accuracy in reading the Qur’an, but also inspired to nurture a deeper love for the holy scripture and strengthen their personal spirituality.
The recitation session served as a serene and uplifting opening to the second day of MPR, reinforcing the madrasah’s dedication to cultivating strong religious character among its students.
It is hoped that through the consistent practice of Qur’anic recitation, students will remain steadfast (istiqomah) in their worship and embrace the Qur’an as a guiding light in their daily lives. (mia)
