Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) — The Mayoga Library of MAN 3 Sleman welcomed a study visit from fourth-grade students of MIN 1 Sleman as part of its Kids Corner literacy program on Friday (February 6, 2026). The visit was accompanied by Rohmah, a teacher from MIN 1 Sleman, and was carried out in a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere.
During the visit, students participated in a series of fun and educational literacy activities. One of the highlights was a read-aloud session aimed at building confidence and fostering a love for reading. The students were also introduced to the library’s rules and guidelines as an early lesson in literacy culture and proper library etiquette.

The program became even more engaging with an origami craft session designed to develop creativity, precision, and fine motor skills. On the occasion, Rohmah expressed her appreciation for the experience provided by the Mayoga Library.
“The children were very happy and enthusiastic. Ever since they heard about the visit to Mayoga Library, they were excited and couldn’t wait to come. The activities are enjoyable and highly beneficial for them,” she said.
The Kids Corner service is one of Mayoga Library’s featured programs, reflecting its commitment to providing a child-friendly literacy space that is enjoyable and supportive of early reading habits and learning development. (may)
