Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) — MAN 3 Sleman continues to enhance its educational services by organizing subject enrichment programs in collaboration with several tutoring institutions. This initiative reflects the school’s commitment to supporting students’ academic readiness according to their grade level and learning needs.
The program was held on Friday (February 6, 2026) and involved students from grades 10, 11, and 12. Each cohort received guidance from different tutoring providers with tailored learning materials.
Grade 10 students were assisted by Edulab Yogyakarta, focusing on an introduction to elective subjects to help students map out their academic interests and future study pathways. The sessions were delivered in an informative and interactive manner, enabling students to better recognize their strengths and preferences.
Meanwhile, grade 11 students worked with Intens and Dua Dimensi, concentrating on preparation for the Academic Ability Test (TKA). The program emphasized conceptual understanding and problem-solving strategies as early preparation for upcoming examinations.
For grade 12 students, Ruangguru facilitated a mini UTBK (university entrance test simulation). This activity was designed to provide a realistic overview of UTBK-style questions in a shorter and more manageable format.
One grade 12 student, Muhammad Taqiy, shared his positive experience, noting that the question format felt refreshing compared to typical full-length tests.
“It was worth doing because it felt different. Usually UTBK-style tests are very long. Here, each subtest only had five questions, so we could stay focused, take it seriously, and enjoy the process without feeling overwhelmed,” he said.
Another student, Andi Nargis, also expressed enthusiasm, highlighting the effectiveness of the session.
“This mini UTBK exposed us to new question patterns and new learning materials. Even with just five questions, it was practical and flexible. The mentor explained things clearly and efficiently. For me, this was one of the easiest English learning sessions to understand,” he remarked.
Through these partnerships with tutoring institutions, MAN 3 Sleman aims to continuously strengthen academic support and motivate students to be well-prepared for future educational challenges. (est)
