Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) — Another proud achievement has been recorded by a student of MAN 3 Sleman. Nabil Khairani Fathurrahman, an 11th-grade student from Class XI H, secured second place in the Boys’ Kumite +65 kg category at the TEKP CUP 2026, a regional karate championship for student athletes across the Yogyakarta Special Region.

The good news was announced on Sunday (February 8, 2026). The tournament brought together student karateka from various schools across Yogyakarta and served as a competitive platform to showcase skill, discipline, and sportsmanship among young athletes.

This accomplishment is not Nabil’s first. Since his first year at MAN 3 Sleman, he has consistently contributed medals in karate competitions, bringing recognition to the madrasah. His dedication to training and strong work ethic have played a key role in his steady progress and repeated success.

Vice Principal for Student Affairs Siti Mutmainnah expressed her pride in Nabil’s achievement. She hopes this success will encourage him to keep improving and reach higher levels of competition, while also inspiring other students to pursue excellence in both academic and non-academic fields.
