Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman)— Students of MAN 3 Sleman once again achieved proud accomplishments in the PANDAI 2026 Islamic Quiz Competition, organized by the Regional Board of the National Mandate Party (DPW PAN) of the Special Region of Yogyakarta, on Sunday (March 8, 2026). The competition was attended by students from various senior high schools and Islamic senior high schools across the Yogyakarta Special Region and served as a platform to develop Islamic knowledge, critical thinking, and communication skills among the younger generation.
In the Da’i (Islamic Preaching) Competition, Shofi Maharani (Class XI F) successfully won First Place after delivering an inspiring sermon with confidence, strong arguments, and meaningful Islamic messages.
Meanwhile, in the Islamic Quiz Competition (Cerdas Cermat Islami / CCA) category, the MAN 3 Sleman team consisting of Shofi Maharani (XI F), Jasmina Raudhatul Jannah (XI F), and Lauzati Mayza Karima (XI A) achieved First Runner-Up (Honorable Mention). The three students are also santri of Muntasyirul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, where the integration of academic learning and Islamic values became a strong foundation for their performance in the competition.
Interestingly, the students had a very limited preparation time. They only had two days to prepare before participating in the competition. Nevertheless, through strong determination, intensive practice, and good teamwork, the students were able to deliver their best performance.
The team mentor, Mohammad Taufikurohman, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the students’ efforts.
“Alhamdulillah, we are very grateful for this achievement. The preparation time was relatively short, only about two days, but the students showed great enthusiasm for learning, strong teamwork, and the courage to perform. This proves that with sincerity, effort, and prayer, good results can be achieved,” he said.
He also hopes that this experience will motivate students to continue developing their potential and expanding their Islamic knowledge.
Meanwhile, the Principal of MAN 3 Sleman, Singgih Sampurno, also expressed his appreciation for the students’ achievements.
“We are very proud of the accomplishments achieved by MAN 3 Sleman students. This success demonstrates that the madrasah is capable of nurturing a generation that excels not only academically but also possesses strong Islamic understanding and communication skills,” he stated.
He added that the madrasah will continue to encourage students to participate in various competitions as a means of developing their potential, character, and self-confidence.
This achievement is expected to inspire all MAN 3 Sleman students to continue striving for excellence, expanding their knowledge, and contributing positively to society. (fiq)
