Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) — MAN 3 Sleman has intensified preparations for its Hajj simulation program through a coordination meeting involving Grade X and XI LBCI Cohort IV students. This initiative marks an important step in delivering a structured, educational, and practical religious program.
The Hajj simulation (manasik haji) is designed as an early introduction for students to understand the rituals of Hajj before eventually performing the pilgrimage in real life. The program emphasizes not only practical training but also the internalization of the spiritual values embedded in the pilgrimage.
Head of MAN 3 Sleman, Singgih Sampurno, stated that the program has been carefully planned and systematically organized. He also highlighted the importance of producing a comprehensive report as an output of the activity. Furthermore, he expressed hope that the program would go beyond training and encourage students to begin planning for Hajj registration from an early age.

This program is packaged under the concept of ARAFAH (Action – Reflection – Morals & Fiqh of Hajj Practices), which promotes a balanced approach between hands-on practice, theoretical understanding, and character building. Through this initiative, students are expected not only to master the procedures of Hajj but also to embody values such as patience, discipline, sincerity, and social awareness in their daily lives.
The Hajj simulation is scheduled to take place on Tuesday (April 28, 2026) at QOLBU Religious Educational Tourism Park. A total of 294 students will participate in a series of immersive simulations of Hajj rituals.
Through this program, MAN 3 Sleman aims to provide meaningful learning experiences while instilling strong religious values that will guide students in their future lives. (mia)
