Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) – Grade XII students of MAN 3 Sleman participated in a UTBK tryout simulation in collaboration with Ruangguru as part of their preparation for the 2026 UTBK. The activity took place in the ICT laboratory on Thursday (April 2, 2026), involving all final-year students preparing to pursue higher education.
This simulation aims to familiarize students with the structure and types of UTBK questions, while also training their time management, accuracy, and mental readiness. By adopting a system and format that closely resemble the actual exam, students are expected to build greater confidence ahead of the real test.
The tryout was conducted in an orderly and conducive environment. Students showed strong enthusiasm throughout each session, working on questions designed according to the latest UTBK standards. Moreover, the results serve as an important evaluation tool, helping students identify their strengths and weaknesses and refine their study strategies.

The Coordinator of Guidance and Counseling (BK) at MAN 3 Sleman, Failasufah, emphasized that this program reflects the madrasah’s commitment to supporting students in achieving their academic goals.
“This tryout simulation is a crucial first step in mapping students’ abilities. It allows them to recognize their strengths and areas for improvement, so they can develop more targeted learning strategies. We hope this activity will enhance their readiness and confidence in facing UTBK 2026,” she explained.

She further added that the support provided goes beyond academics, encompassing psychological aspects as well. BK teachers continue to offer motivation, counseling services, and mental reinforcement to ensure students remain optimistic and resilient in pursuing their dreams.
Through this initiative, MAN 3 Sleman demonstrates its commitment to delivering comprehensive educational support—not only focusing on classroom learning but also on preparing students for university entrance selection.
The UTBK tryout simulation in collaboration with Ruangguru is expected to become a strategic step in ensuring that Grade XII students are better prepared, more mature, and confident in achieving success in UTBK 2026. (nia)
