Strengthening Discipline and Synergy: MAN 3 Sleman Enhances MutiaraQu Program to Shape a Qur’anic Generation

Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) — The first evaluation meeting of the MutiaraQu program, along with coordination for the preparation of students’ monthly reports, was held on Monday (April 6, 2026). Taking place at the 3rd floor of Masjid Muntasyirul Ulum, the session began at 07:45 WIB and was attended by program coordinators as well as ustadz and ustadzah who mentor the halaqah, aiming to improve the quality of student development.

In his remarks, Vice Principal for Curriculum, Nurudin Mahmud, stated that the MutiaraQu program has been running very well and has shown encouraging progress. He emphasized the importance of proper documentation through designated video and photo duty officers, as well as disciplined journal entries as a foundation for further evaluation. He expressed hope that all stakeholders would strengthen collaboration so that this flagship program can continue consistently (istiqomah) and deliver sustainable positive impact for all students.

Echoing this message, Wahidatul Mukaromah, Head of MutiaraQu, motivated all instructors to maintain their enthusiasm in guiding students. She highlighted the importance of discipline by comparing it with other institutions that begin activities earlier, noting that the 06:15 WIB start time at the madrasah should serve as an additional source of motivation.

Regarding the issue of student tardiness, she stressed the importance of maintaining a persistent (greteh) attitude—never tiring of providing guidance—and building intensive communication with parents to foster stronger discipline among students.

The session concluded with in-depth discussions within each halaqah group, led by the respective ustadz and ustadzah. This group-based evaluation plays a crucial role in mapping each student’s progress, ensuring the accuracy of the upcoming monthly reports.

Through this solid coordination, the madrasah remains optimistic that the MutiaraQu program will continue to grow in quality, nurturing a generation that is not only academically capable but also deeply connected to the Qur’an. (its)
