Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) — In anticipation of the holy month of Ramadan 1447 H, MAN 3 Sleman convened a coordination meeting to finalize preparations for its religious programs. The meeting, held in the AVA Room on Wednesday (February 18, 2026), involved teachers of Islamic Education (PAI), student affairs representatives, as well as faculty and staff members.
The session aimed to ensure that all planned Ramadan activities are well-structured, effective, and aligned with the technical guidelines issued by the Kementerian Agama Republik Indonesia.
Principal Singgih Sampurno emphasized that while programs may be adjusted to suit the madrasah’s culture and needs, they must remain consistent with the official framework. He highlighted that Ramadan activities should go beyond routine worship and serve as a platform for character building, strengthening faith, and nurturing social responsibility among students.

Echoing this vision, Imas Kurniasih underlined the importance of ensuring that the programs leave a meaningful impact on students, particularly in fostering moral integrity, leadership, and social awareness.
This year’s Mayoga Pesantren Ramadan (MPR) will feature four main components:
1. Pesantren Ramadan (March 2–5, 2026)
2. Daily religious activities
3. Ramadan study sessions
4. Zakat fitrah collection
According to committee chair ST Darojah, the program adopts the national theme set by the Ministry of Religious Affairs: “Ramadan as a Momentum to Strengthen Faith, Character, and Social Solidarity.”
Through careful preparation and collaborative planning, MAN 3 Sleman reaffirms its commitment to making Ramadan not only spiritually enriching but also transformative—cultivating piety, compassion, and a sense of shared responsibility within the school community and beyond. (isn)
