Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) — MAN 3 Sleman convened a coordination meeting on Thursday, February 20, 2026, to finalize preparations for the official launch of MUTIARAQU (Muraja’ah dan Tahfidz Intensif Al-Qur’an). The meeting, held in the AVA Room, marked a strategic step toward strengthening a structured and sustainable Qur’an memorization program at the madrasah.

Program Chair, Wahidatul Mukarromah expressed optimism about the initiative’s long-term impact. She emphasized the importance of collective support to ensure the program’s continuity and encouraged students to remain consistent in both adding to and maintaining their memorization.

Following the opening remarks, the session introduced the MUTIARAQU committee members and selected tahfidz teachers, reinforcing shared commitment to the program’s success.

Principal Singgih Sampurno highlighted that the program has been communicated to parents as part of transparent collaboration between the school and families. He underlined that sustaining Qur’an memorization requires consistent mentoring, noting that both students and teachers must uphold measurable targets.

He also linked MUTIARAQU to the Ministry of Religious Affairs’ initiative, Tahfidz Berdampak, under the Kementerian Agama Republik Indonesia. The concept encourages Qur’an memorization to create broader social impact—such as empowering MAN students to mentor MTs students in tahfidz activities.

Through MUTIARAQU, MAN 3 Sleman aims to cultivate a strong tahfidz ecosystem—one that not only enhances students’ spiritual discipline but also prepares them for higher academic pathways while contributing positively to the wider community. (mia)
