Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) – The Ramadan Islamic boarding program (Mayoga Pesantren Ramadhan / MPR) for Grade XI students at MAN 3 Sleman officially concluded on Thursday (March 5, 2026). The program, which took place from March 4 to March 5, 2026, was successfully conducted and received enthusiastic participation from the students.

Over the course of two days, students took part in a series of religious activities designed to strengthen their faith, deepen their understanding of Islamic teachings, and foster a sense of togetherness within the madrasah community. The activities were also supported by the active involvement and guidance of teachers who accompanied and mentored the students throughout the program.

During the closing ceremony, the Head of the Madrasah expressed appreciation and gratitude to all teachers and students who actively participated in the event. He emphasized that religious activities such as this should ideally be followed with personal awareness and willingness, rather than merely out of obligation.

Furthermore, the various materials delivered by the speakers were expected to inspire students to renew their love for the mosque, deepen their religious knowledge, and strengthen bonds of brotherhood among one another. These values are hoped to become an important foundation for building a character that upholds unity and togetherness.

The madrasah also stated that the MPR program will continue to be evaluated and improved through various innovations in future implementations, so that its benefits can reach students more broadly.

At the end of the program, students were encouraged to practice and share the knowledge they had gained during the MPR activities. They were also reminded to actively enliven the mosques in their neighborhoods, as a reflection that the spirit of Ramadan cultivated in the madrasah continues to live in their daily lives. (mia)
