Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) — On Monday (March 2, 2026), the Mayoga Pesantren Ramadan (MPR) program at MAN 3 Sleman became even more vibrant with the second session featuring an interactive Islamic game known as Sambung Ayat (Verse Continuation). The activity quickly became one of the most anticipated sessions, as it was designed to be both challenging and engaging.
During the session, students were grouped according to their respective classes and participated in a team-based Qur’anic verse continuation game. Each group was guided by a supervising teacher who ensured the smooth flow of the competition and helped select the two best representatives from each class.

The two selected candidates then advanced to compete against representatives from other classes in a final challenge round to determine the overall winner. The atmosphere was lively and competitive, with enthusiastic support from classmates adding to the excitement.
Through this activity, students were not only encouraged to memorize and understand Qur’anic verses, but also to develop confidence, teamwork, and a healthy competitive spirit.

The high level of enthusiasm demonstrated by the participants highlighted how game-based learning can serve as an effective and enjoyable method of instilling Islamic values in a meaningful way.
By organizing activities like this, MAN 3 Sleman continues to innovate in its learning approach, particularly in fostering students’ religious character throughout the holy month of Ramadan. (mia)
