Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) – Representatives of MAN 3 Sleman, including members of the Student Council, BPH RohisMu, and several other student delegates, took part in the Sleman Student Gathering on Sunday (March 1, 2026).

The event, themed “From Students to Champions of Change,” was held at the Pendopo Rumah Dinas Bupati Sleman. On this occasion, Abang Dalil attended as the keynote speaker, delivering an inspiring talk on the vital role of students as agents of positive transformation.

The program began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, followed by fun games, a pre-iftar Islamic lecture (kajian), and concluded with a communal iftar (breaking of the fast). The atmosphere was warm and interactive, with participation from students representing various senior high schools (SMA/MA) across Sleman Regency.

Through this gathering, MAN 3 Sleman students not only strengthened bonds of friendship and solidarity but also gained renewed motivation to contribute positively and initiate meaningful change within their respective schools.

One of the participants, Sabrang Damar (Grade XI H), shared his impression:
“This activity reminded me that students also have an important role in bringing about change,” he said.

It is hoped that the spirit of “From Students to Champions of Change” will be translated into concrete actions both within the madrasah and in the wider community. (mia)
