Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) — Tuesday (March 3, 2026), from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, marked the highlight of the first phase of the Mayoga Pesantren Ramadan program attended by all Grade X students of MAN 3 Sleman. The session, themed “Love Management,” was delivered by Maulana Umar In’amul Hasan, S.H., M.H., with M. Bafadhal Danarahza serving as moderator.
In his lecture, Ustadz Maulana emphasized that love is a natural human disposition (fitrah). However, what truly matters is not merely feeling love, but managing it wisely and responsibly. In today’s social media era, he explained, perceptions of love are often shaped by trends and algorithms rather than by the values of the Qur’an.

Referring to Surah Al-Baqarah verse 216, he reminded students that not everything we like is necessarily good for us. Therefore, it is essential to distinguish between love for the sake of Allah and love driven by personal desire.
Love for the sake of Allah stems from faith, respects boundaries, brings one closer to Allah, and leads to goodness and blessings. In contrast, love driven by desire often focuses on temporary pleasure, crosses moral limits, and may end in regret.

He also shared practical advice for teenagers who may have feelings for someone: there is no need to publicize emotions, maintain proper interaction, focus on achievements, improve oneself, and pray silently. If it is destined, Allah will bring two people together in an honorable way; if not, Allah will distance them in a way that protects them.
Through this session, students are expected to develop emotional maturity, maintain self-respect, and stay focused on building a brighter future guided by faith and strong character. (its)
