Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) — A total of 45 students of MAN 3 Sleman who will represent the madrasah in the 2026 National Science Olympiad (OSN) for senior high school level officially signed an Integrity Pact on Monday (February 23, 2026). The signing ceremony took place in the school library as a collective commitment to uphold honesty, sportsmanship, and compliance with all OSN regulations.
During the event, each student completed and signed a stamped declaration form as a symbol of their serious commitment. The documents were subsequently signed by the Principal, Singgih Sampurno, marking the participants’ moral and academic responsibility in the competition.
According to the official decree issued by the madrasah, the 45 OSN participants are divided into nine competition fields: Geography, Earth Science, Economics, Biology, Astronomy, Mathematics, Physics, Informatics, and Chemistry. Each subject is represented by five selected students who successfully passed the internal school selection process.
In his remarks, the principal encouraged all participants to prepare themselves optimally and emphasized that integrity is the fundamental pillar of every academic competition.
“This integrity pact is not merely an administrative formality, but a moral commitment. You must participate in OSN honestly, uphold sportsmanship, and comply with all official guidelines and technical regulations. Achievements earned with integrity will bring both pride and blessings to the madrasah,” he stated.
Meanwhile, OSN mentor Hasti Budiyaningrum expressed her hope that the selected students, as OSN ambassadors of MAN 3 Sleman at the regency level, would make the most of this opportunity.
“Students who have passed the school-level selection should strive to give their best and aim for outstanding achievements at the regency, provincial, and even national levels for MAYOGA—Madrasah of Champions,” she remarked.
Through the signing of this Integrity Pact, MAN 3 Sleman reaffirms its commitment to nurturing a generation that excels not only academically but also demonstrates strong character and high integrity. (est)
