Sleman (MAN 3 Sleman) — The Scout troop of MAN 2 Yogyakarta conducted a friendly visit (anjang sana) to the Scout troop of MAN 3 Sleman on Friday (January 30, 2026). The visit took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere at the AVA Room of MAN 3 Sleman.
The delegation from MAN 2 Yogyakarta was welcomed by Scout mentors and the Ambalan Council of MAN 3 Sleman. The program began with opening remarks, followed by an exchange of souvenirs and presentations on each troop’s profile and work programs.
After the presentations, the visiting scouts were invited to observe MAN 3 Sleman’s regular Scout training session held on the third floor of Muntasyirul Ulum Mosque. The agenda continued with a Focus Group Discussion (FGD), providing a platform to share experiences, management systems, and scouting programs from each ambalan.
In his remarks, the Head of the Scout Advisory Board (Kamabigus) of MAN 3 Sleman, Kak Singgih Sampurno, emphasized that the visit was not about competition.
“This visit is not a contest, but a form of synergy among madrasah Scout troops within the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Yogyakarta,” he stated.
A similar message was delivered by Kak Tri Winarko, Scout mentor of MAN 2 Yogyakarta. He expressed his hope that each ambalan could gain valuable insights and lessons from the visit.
The event concluded with a group photo session as a symbol of friendship and unity. Through this anjang sana, both institutions hope to strengthen their relationship and create opportunities for future scouting collaborations. (nis)
